Goss broadens Eastern European representation

FULL STORY
Maintaining a commitment to providing customers with localised service, Goss International continues to build its representation in Europe with the appointment of Euro Top Grafix Srl (ETG) to its global network of sales organisations.

With more than 10 years' experience in the graphic arts industry, ETG is a well-established supplier of machinery and consumables for a wide range of newspaper, commercial print and packaging applications. The company now represents Goss web offset products in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary, with a particular focus on penetrating the packaging market in these territories.

‘We're very excited about this development as Goss is an excellent addition to our product portfolio,’ commented Cristian Hatagan, managing director of ETG. ‘Their extensive range of products means that we are now well positioned to offer the most comprehensive web offset sales and support in our territory. The Goss Vpak press in particular also offers very real prospects for continuing our growth in the labels and packaging markets.’

Recently announced as a recipient of a 2014 InterTech Technology Award, the Sunday Vpak press system features quick-change sleeve technology, delivering outstanding quality and fast job changeovers for board and film substrates. It is available in web widths of 520mm up to 1905mm and runs at speeds up to 456 metres/minute. Finishing and other printing processes, including flexo, gravure and digital stations, can also be added to customize inline production.

Extending ETG's range of graphics arts solutions, the Vpak press series and Goss newspaper and commercial web presses will complement products covering print, converting, finishing and consumables from manufacturers including Screen, MacDermid, Codimag, Grafotronic and Autobond. With the head office in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, the company employs 20 people across Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.

Jean Segura, vice president of sales in EMEA for Goss, commented, ‘We feel very positive about the appointment of ETG as an agent for Goss. They not only provide extensive local expertise for promoting our products in the region, but they also offer a level of consultancy and know-how that can ensure our customers are well advised and supported for the long-term. We believe they are fully dedicated to this industry and look forward to working together to meet growing demands.’
